The story of fire saga

Territory Studio brings together the stunning visuals for Netflix’s Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga. From live performances to individual 3D logos and more, the performances drip with dynamic energy and valour. Tasked to create a fresh and vibrant visual language that brings the ‘Perfect Harmony’ theme to life across the titles, leaderboards, graphic overlays, and individual 3D logos and performance assets for each of the ten contestants. In collaboration with Production Designer Paul Inglis, the event team and talent, Territory’s cinematic and event expertise ensured sharp and versatile VFX assets for each stage of the contest with stunning animated content that conveys the spirit of each song. Shot as a live performance, the result is a dynamic graphics package that reflects the Eurocentric fun and celebratory vision of the annual event. As per my involvment in the project I was asked to tackle a few of the main live performances in the movie, design and animate a mix-media set of assets in order to create a cool and entertaining environment which then were projected live on set during the shooting of the movie and recorded on camera.
